Loudersound's Classic Rock has published its Tracks Of The Week roundup for 20 July 2026, revealing the results of the previous competition and introducing the new batch of tracks up for public vote. The all-English podium saw North East act Juliet's Not Dead take first place with their song "Passing Ships", ahead of Lancaster rockers Massive Wagons in second and Torquay's Kris Barras Band in third.

The next round of competition is already underway, broadening the field beyond the usual British and American entrants to include Villagers Of Ioannina City, hard rockers from north-west Greece blending heavy metal and stoner influences with traditional regional instrumentation, alongside challengers from New Zealand and a Turkish-American act based in Los Angeles.
