Stockholm post-punk band Clutter have released “Robot”, a new single from their forthcoming album Sugar Rush. The song playfully explores a romance between a girl and a robot while also commenting on the growing influence of technology, pairing that theme with distorted, choppy instrumentation.

The four-piece describe “Robot” as static and fuzzy, with its processed sound approaching an electronic feel. It follows earlier Sugar Rush singles “C.L.U.T.T.E.R.”, “GirlVsHeart” and “Grease Baby”; an animated video by Henry Ander depicts the central human-robot relationship. Sugar Rush is due on 2 October via PNKSLM.
