## Key points

- Cignetti criticised the SEC at Big Ten Media Days.
- Indiana are defending national champions.
- The article questions Indiana’s schedule strength.

## Summary

Indiana coach Curt Cignetti used Big Ten Media Days to criticise the SEC, continuing his confident public style after leading Indiana to a national championship. The article presents his remarks as part of a wider dispute over conference strength, while arguing that Indiana’s own schedule weakens his position.

It describes Indiana as the defending national champions and says Cignetti has earned confidence through the team’s success. However, the headline and framing contend that he should consider the perceived weakness of Indiana’s schedule before attacking the SEC.
