Colman Domingo to Emcee Kering’s Caring for Women Dinner

Variety · 4 hours ago

Actor Colman Domingo will host the fifth annual Caring for Women Dinner on 10 September in New York, with Paris Hilton providing DJ duties at the after-party. The event, staged by the Kering Foundation, brings together figures from fashion, film, art and sport to raise funds for organisations working to end gender-based violence, underscoring the luxury conglomerate's continued push to align its brand with philanthropic causes.

Co-hosts for the evening include Salma Hayek Pinault, François-Henri Pinault, Pamela Anderson, Simone Biles, Benicio Del Toro, Dakota Johnson and others, with proceeds this year benefiting Activating Change, Fondo Semillas, JBWS and The New York Women's Foundation. Last year's dinner raised more than $4.5 million, and the evening will again include a live auction of items from Kering-owned houses such as Gucci and Saint Laurent, plus a new public online silent auction. The Kering Foundation, established in 2008, works with partners in six countries on survivor-centred services and violence-prevention programmes.
