## Key points

- Multiple teams have asked the Colts about Daniel Jones.
- The Vikings are a possible destination; the Ravens already acquired Jacoby Brissett.
- Jones is expected to start against Dallas despite the trade talks.

## Summary

The Colts have discussed trading quarterback Daniel Jones after several teams asked about his availability ahead of Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline. The interest comes as Indianapolis, now 2-6 after four straight losses, has shifted towards selling players and is weighing its options for the 29-year-old.

The Vikings have been mentioned as a possible destination, while the Ravens enquired before acquiring Jacoby Brissett. Jones has thrown for 1,542 yards, five touchdowns and nine interceptions in eight games this season, following a stronger first year with Indianapolis in 2025. He is expected to start against Dallas on Sunday; his two-year, $88 million deal includes a $10.51 million injury guarantee for 2027 that becomes fully guaranteed in March if he remains on the roster.
