Andie Rosafort, a former Connecticut school lunch worker, is serving a two-and-a-half-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy in 2023. The case has also led to a civil lawsuit alleging that the boy has post-traumatic stress disorder, while Rosafort’s divorce and custody arrangements have added to the personal and financial consequences.

Rosafort was sentenced in September 2024 and is expected to be released in early 2027. Her former husband filed for divorce in February 2023; their agreement gave him sole legal guardianship of their two daughters during any imprisonment, while allowing Rosafort to seek custody again after release. The settlement included $250 weekly child support from him, a $35,000 payment connected with the family home, and no alimony for Rosafort.
