Country Music Hall of Famer Ray Stevens to Be Celebrated With Star-Studded Opry House Tribute

The Grand Ole Opry will host a star-studded tribute concert honouring Country Music Hall of Famer Ray Stevens on 9 November. Titled "Don't Look, Ethel! A Salute to the Musical Genius of Ray Stevens," the one-night event celebrates the Grammy-winning musician's decades-long career and influence on American music, spanning country, gospel and comedy.

The show, hosted by Cletus T. Judd, features performers including Jamey Johnson, Ronnie Milsap, Lee Greenwood, the Gatlin Brothers, Gretchen Wilson and Ricky Skaggs, alongside a special appearance from Randy Travis. Tributes will also be paid by Nancy Jones (widow of George Jones) and WWE figures Mickie James and Jerry "The King" Lawler. Stevens, whose career began in 1957 and includes the 1970 number one hit "Everything Is Beautiful" and two Grammy wins by 1975, said he was honoured by the tribute. Tickets go on sale on 21 August at 10am CT.
