Country Singer Announces Sudden Exit From Ella Langley’s Tour: “I Owe It to Myself and Those Affected by My Actions”

American Songwriter · 1 hour ago

Country singer ERNEST has withdrawn from Ella Langley's Dandelion Tour, citing declining mental and physical health from life on the road. He announced the decision via an Instagram Story, saying he needed time away to reset his priorities before returning "better and stronger," though he gave no further detail on the issues he referred to.

ERNEST had been due to open for Langley through 12 September but was absent from her recent back-to-back shows in Auburn, Alabama, a milestone stop given Langley's ties to Auburn University. Those concerts also served as a tribute to Dolly Parton, who died aged 80, with Langley covering "Jolene" and posting a heartfelt homage online. Langley has not yet publicly responded to ERNEST's exit from the tour.
