## Key points

- Add planned purchases to a Tesco online list before visiting.
- The scanner can show aisle locations and listed stock status.
- Shoppers say the feature can save time, though reports vary.

## Summary

Money-saving tips creator Jordon Cox has shared a Tesco shopping method that uses the store’s self-scanning device to help customers find items faster. By adding their planned purchases to a Tesco online shopping list or basket before visiting, shoppers can see on the scanner which aisles items are in and whether they are listed as out of stock.

The scanners are linked to a customer’s Clubcard and let them scan products as they shop, avoiding individual scans at the till and showing a running total. Cox says shoppers who do not order online can leave their weekly shop in the basket for future visits. Responses were mixed: some users said the feature helped them stay organised, while others questioned the time needed to enter items or reported that stock information was inaccurate.
