## Summary

Constance Wu will reprise Rachel Chu in HBO’s sequel series to *Crazy Rich Asians*, reuniting with the Young family eight years after the film. She says the script is very funny and praised Adele Lim, who co-wrote the film, as a talented showrunner and writer.

The eight-episode, one-hour drama is due to begin filming next year in New York City, where Wu lives. Henry Golding and Ronny Chieng are also set to return, while Michelle Yeoh will appear in a recurring role; the story draws on the wider world of Kevin Kwan’s books.
