## Summary

Apple TV's "Widow's Bay" was the standout winner of Night 2 of the Creative Arts Emmys, taking eight awards and cementing its status as a frontrunner in the comedy race ahead of the main Primetime ceremony on 14 September. Apple TV dominated the evening overall with 18 wins across its shows, including four for "Pluribus" and three each for "Margo's Got Money Troubles" and "Palm Royale". HBO Max's "DTF St. Louis" took six awards, among them first-ever Emmys for supporting actors David Harbour and Linda Cardellini, while Prime Video's "Spider-Noir" collected five prizes despite having been cancelled only days earlier.

"Widow's Bay" wins spanned guest actress (Betty Gilpin), casting, music supervision, cinematography, sound mixing, sound editing, music composition and production design. "DTF St. Louis" writer-director Steve Conrad won twice, for directing and writing a limited series, while its stunt-driven rival "Spider-Noir" picked up stunt performance and visual effects honours. The night's most emotional moment came when the late Rob Reiner received a posthumous comedy guest actor Emmy for "The Bear", drawing a lengthy standing ovation, while Shailene Woodley ("Paradise") and Ernest Harden Jr. ("The Pitt") won the drama guest actress and actor categories respectively. The ceremony formed the second of two Creative Arts nights ahead of the main Primetime Emmys.
