## Summary

*Criminal Minds: Evolution* will end after its forthcoming 20th season, prompting cast members to share affectionate and bittersweet reactions. The cancellation matters to fans and the cast because, despite the series’ long run, its showrunner says there are more stories to tell and Vangsness hopes the show can continue elsewhere.

Kirsten Vangsness, who has played Penelope Garcia since the first season, said the cast learned the news at the same time as viewers and described reaching 20 seasons as unusual. A.J.
