Argonaut announces Croc 2 remaster for Switch in 2026
Developing story first seen 3 hours ago
Argonaut Games has announced that Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos is being remastered for Nintendo Switch, with a digital release planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. The project follows last year’s remaster of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos and suggests the original release performed well enough to justify reviving the sequel.
The remaster will feature improved visuals, modern quality-of-life changes and a new triple-jump ability for Croc across its 40 levels. It will also include the Croc2pedia digital museum, containing development materials such as cut content and interviews; the game follows Croc’s search for his parents while confronting the revived Baron Dante across four villages.
- Croc 2 remaster launches digitally on Switch in Q4 2026.
- Enhanced visuals and quality-of-life updates are planned.
- A Croc2pedia museum will include development archives.
