A court has heard further prosecution evidence in the murder case against singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, concerning the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Prosecutors say her decomposed remains were found in the front storage compartment of a Tesla registered to Burke; he denies murder and sexual abuse charges, and has pleaded not guilty.

An LAPD criminalist testified that at least 11 air fresheners were found throughout the Tesla and that the vehicle had a strong odour resembling a decomposing body. The court also heard that Rivas Hernandez’s blood was identified in the rear boot compartment, while investigators reportedly found blood traces in Burke’s garage and evidence including garbage bags said to contain his DNA; the defence stressed that only two tested swabs were positive for blood DNA and neither was from the passenger area.
