## Summary

Daddy Yankee has returned with La Postal, an album that brings together reggaeton and romantic themes, with guest appearances from Cardi B, Diljit Dosanjh, Bizarrap and others. The release marks a shift from the Christian focus of his 2025 album Lamento En Baile towards more secular music, while continuing his work to broaden reggaeton’s sound and reach.

The 15-song album explores different forms of love, from lasting relationships to heartbreak, according to Daddy Yankee. It includes the lead single “BOTZ (Bésame Otra Vez)”, a bachata collaboration with Cardi B called “Cosita”, and “Pokito” with Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. Daddy Yankee announced his retirement in 2022 after his La Última Vuelta World Tour, following a career that helped bring reggaeton to mainstream audiences with “Gasolina”; he is due to be honoured as the Latin Recording Academy’s Person of the Year before the Latin Grammy Awards on 12 November in Las Vegas.
