## Summary

A newspaper says it found sexually explicit material involving children in a storage unit rented by Thomas Markle in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, and has reported its discovery to the FBI. The material was found amid a wider investigation into alleged child-sex images among his possessions in the Philippines; the allegations have not been established in court.

The newspaper says the unit held about 20 boxes, including books, magazines, photographs, film negatives and more than 50 videotapes. It reports that some images appear to show child sexual abuse, while other photographs depict young-looking Asian women; authorities in the Philippines are investigating separately after Markle’s son alerted police. Markle, 82, could face 10 to 12 years in prison if charged and convicted, according to the article.
