Damon Wayans, a versatile entertainer with decades of impact on television and film, has secured representation through the Verve talent agency. The Emmy-nominated writer, actor, and comedian is perhaps most celebrated for co-founding the pioneering sketch comedy series In Living Color, which became notable as the first major network sketch programme to centre on a predominantly Black ensemble cast and served as a launching pad for comedy legends like Jamie Foxx and Jim Carrey.

Wayans' recent career highlights include starring alongside his son Damon Wayans Jr. in the CBS comedy Poppa's House, for which he received the 2025 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series—making the pair the first father-son duo to earn simultaneous nominations in that category. The entire Wayans family was inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame earlier this year. He will appear in an upcoming episode of NBC's St. Denis Medical, reuniting him with former In Living Color cast member David Alan Grier.
