Dave Grohl Lives Out Boyhood Dream by Joining AC/DC for “Highway to Hell”
Dave Grohl joined AC/DC on stage at MetLife Stadium on Friday night to perform “Highway to Hell”, fulfilling a boyhood ambition more than four decades after discovering the band. The appearance followed Foo Fighters’ surprise opening set on AC/DC’s “PWR UP” tour.
During that set, Grohl recalled watching AC/DC’s *Let There Be Rock* concert film when he was 11 and deciding he wanted to spend his life playing rock music. Foo Fighters had previously served as surprise openers on the tour, making this their second time in that role.
