## Summary

The latest details confirm that David Bowie’s immersive concert experience, “Stage”, will have its world premiere on 14 February at Berlin’s Uber Arena during the Berlin Film Festival. The event is a rare move into alternative programming for the festival, and brings restored concert footage to audiences in a live-style setting.

The experience uses recently discovered camera negatives from Bowie’s 1978 Isolar II World Tour, when he performed material from “Heroes”. It combines three-screen projections, transparent LED screens and lighting by Patrick Woodroffe with a bespoke 7.1 surround and spatial audio mix by Paul Massey. Filmmaker Brett Morgen, who found the negatives while making “Moonage Daydream”, developed the production with Wonderworld and Bowie’s Estate; he will also speak at the European Film Market.
