## Key points

- Bend’s next game is reportedly due in 2027.
- It is said to be third-person with co-op.
- The report says it is not a Days Gone sequel.

## Summary

A report says Sony’s Bend Studio plans to announce and release its next PlayStation game in 2027. The claim suggests the studio’s next project is well advanced, offering a sign of progress after the cancellation of its previous game and subsequent job cuts.

The game is reportedly a third-person title with co-op, but without live service features, and it is not a sequel to Days Gone. Bend had described a new IP in 2022 that built on Days Gone’s open-world systems and included multiplayer; a later live service project was cancelled in 2025. The report does not say whether the new game uses an existing property or a new one, and Bend has not commented.
