## Summary

DC Studios co-head Peter Safran says the studio has discussed several possible projects with Alan Ritchson, but none has yet resulted in a role. The talks matter because Ritchson has said he is interested in working with James Gunn, while fans have often suggested him for Batman in the developing DC Universe.

Safran praised Ritchson’s acting range, and the actor has said he would only take a DC project that meets his standards. Ritchson has indicated the discussions concern another character, although Batman has not yet been cast. He has previously played Aquaman in *Smallville* and Hawk in *Titans*, and is best known for playing Jack Reacher.
