Deadpool Creator Rob Liefeld Signs with Range (Exclusive)
Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld has signed with Range Media Partners for management, moving on from Verve, which he had been with for years. He left Verve earlier this year for undisclosed reasons, and Range will now help him pursue publishing, film and TV, and gaming opportunities across his catalogue of characters.
Liefeld rose to prominence as an artist in the late 1980s and early 1990s on titles including The New Mutants and X-Force, before co-founding Image Comics in 1992. His character Deadpool became a major Hollywood asset thanks to Ryan Reynolds' films, culminating in 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine, which grossed $1.3 billion; other Liefeld properties in development include Avengelyne, backed by Olivia Wilde, Margot Robbie and screenwriter Tony McNamara at Warner Bros. He remains represented separately by PAL Public Relations and Yorn Levine for publicity and legal matters.
