Actress Debi Mazar has said the set of "Entourage" became "toxic" for her during the show's third season, claiming colleagues did not like it when she gained weight after giving birth to her second child. Mazar played press agent Shauna Roberts throughout the HBO comedy's run from 2004 to 2011, joining the main cast in Season 2 after her second daughter was born in March 2006, around the time Season 3 aired. She described the show's early days as a "joy-fest" but said the atmosphere later turned "testosterone-fuelled," echoing earlier comments in a 2020 interview where she called the production culture "testosterone-driven and misogynistic." "Entourage," created by Doug Ellin, went on to win six Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe, and Mazar reprised her role in the 2015 film spin-off.
