Actor Dennis Haskins, best known for playing Principal Richard Belding in *Saved by the Bell*, has died aged 75. His agent confirmed his death to TMZ on Monday; no cause was immediately given.

Haskins first played Belding in *Good Morning, Miss Bliss* in 1988, then continued in the NBC series *Saved by the Bell* from 1989 to 1993 and its spin-off *The New Class* from 1993 to 2000. He also appeared in *The College Years* and reunited with cast members for a 2015 *Tonight Show* sketch. Other credits included *The Dukes of Hazzard*, *The West Wing*, *Mad Men* and *It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia*.
