Stephen Egerton, guitarist with Descendents and All, has announced his debut solo album, I Think You’re Overthinking This. The self-released ten-track record is scheduled for 11 September 2026, with the 2:03 lead single “Stay Home” now available to stream and buy. The tracklist also includes “Roland Grace”, “At A Funeral”, “Bottom Of Her Heart” and “You Know Better Now”.

Egerton began the project after receiving four days of recording time at Abbey Road Studios as a 60th-birthday present from his wife, Natalie O’Reilly. He recorded guitar, bass and drums for the album, then recorded the vocals and mixed the material at home in Tulsa. The Bandcamp release credits list Abbey Road Studios and Armstrong Recording, with production and engineering by Egerton, Chris Bolster and Freddie Light; Jason Livermore mastered the album at the Blasting Room.
