Paramount+ has released first-look images and expanded details for Season 2 of "Dexter: Resurrection," confirming Michael C. Hall's return as the notorious serial killer as the show battles fresh foes in New York City. The images offer the first visual glimpse of the new season's ensemble, including returning stars and newcomers, giving fans an early sense of the show's direction even though a premiere date has still not been set.

The official logline reveals Dexter will be "caught between two killers," one described as notorious and the other terrorising New York in unexpected ways, all while he also confronts a personal "mid-life crisis." His son Harrison, played by Jack Alcott, continues his separate pursuit of justice, setting up what is billed as father and son facing their "darkest chapter" yet. The expanded cast includes Brian Cox as The New York Ripper and Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer, alongside Bokeem Woodbine, Nona Parker Johnson and Gabriel Luna, with Uma Thurman, Kristen Ritter, Desmond Harrington and James Remar reprising earlier roles; original series developer Clyde Phillips again serves as showrunner.
