## Key points

- Russini reportedly plans to announce a new job next week.
- The employer and role have not been confirmed.
- She resigned from The Athletic after a standards review.

## Summary

Dianna Russini is reportedly preparing to announce a new sports media job next week, though neither the employer nor the exact role is known. The move would mark a return after she resigned from The Athletic amid scrutiny over her relationship with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and questions about disclosure.

Reports suggest the job could be with a gambling or prediction company, but this has not been confirmed. The Athletic said in September that Russini’s relationship with Vrabel breached its standards and should have been disclosed, regardless of whether it was romantic. Photos of the pair at an Arizona resort were published in April, and further reports described earlier meetings, including a private boat trip in 2021.
