Dinosaur Jr. have added a North American leg to their tour for early 2027, coinciding with the release of their new album, There Near. The extension gives fans further opportunities to see the influential alternative rock trio following a separate autumn 2026 run, with Starcrawler joining selected dates.

There Near is the band’s 13th studio album and first since 2021’s Sweep It into Space. Recorded over a year at Bisquiteen Studio in Amherst, Massachusetts by J Mascis, Murph and Lou Barlow, it contains 11 tracks; the 2027 dates begin with two Brooklyn Steel shows on 11 and 12 February and continue through cities including Philadelphia, Orlando, Nashville, Chicago, Toronto and Boston.
