Disney's live-action remake of Moana is set to arrive on digital platforms including Prime Video and Apple TV on 8 September 2026, nearly two months after its theatrical debut. The film, which sees Dwayne Johnson reprise his role as Maui, has taken over $300 million at the box office since opening on 10 July, and holds a strong 88% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes despite falling short of Disney's box office hopes.

Physical copies, including 4K Blu-ray Ultra HD, standard Blu-ray, DVD and a 4K Steelbook edition, will follow on 6 October. The film also stars newcomer Catherine Laga'aia as Moana. Disney has not confirmed a Disney Plus streaming date, though comparisons with Avatar: Fire and Ash, which took roughly six months to reach the platform, suggest Moana is unlikely to stream before late October at the earliest, with November or December seen as more probable.
