DJI has released the Osmo 360 II, a refreshed version of its 360-degree action camera that fixes a key complaint about its predecessor by introducing more durable, replaceable lenses, alongside modest improvements to video quality, low-light performance and battery life. The update comes only a short time after the original Osmo 360, offering incremental but meaningful gains at a slightly higher price point, and positions DJI more competitively against rivals such as the Insta360 X6.

The new lenses feature an "ultra-hard" scratch-resistant coating and can be replaced for €39 ($45) a pair, addressing durability concerns for extreme sports users. The camera retains its 1-inch square sensor but now supports 8K video at up to 60fps (up from 50fps), improved dynamic range of 14.5 stops, and a new AI SuperNight 2.0 low-light algorithm, plus a larger 2,150mAh battery with faster charging. It launches in Europe later in September, priced from £509/€589 for the Standard Combo, though it remains unavailable in the US for now.
