Remedy has announced post-launch updates for Control: Resonant, including a New Game++ mode planned for October and a photo mode scheduled for November. The announcements follow a launch-day hotfix addressing combat complaints, and show the developer’s focus on expanding replayability while improving the game after release.

The current New Game+ mode allows one additional playthrough, whereas New Game++ will let players begin repeated NG+ runs without deleting existing progress. Remedy says the photo mode has been in development for some time, with input from virtual photographers, while future updates will also add new cosmetics; the studio prioritised launch stability before introducing these features.
