Dolly Parton is to be celebrated with DOLLYFEST, a two-day festival planned for both Nashville, Tennessee, and London in 2027, following her death on 25 August at the age of 80. The event was originally conceived as a Nashville show for January 2026 to mark her 80th birthday, with Parton set to perform and host, but was shelved after she stepped back from public life due to health issues in August 2025; organisers say they are now reviving her original vision as a tribute rather than a conventional memorial, which they say she did not want.

CTK Enterprises founder Danny Nozell said the festival reflects "what Dolly would do," giving fans and artists worldwide time to grieve before celebrating her life through the format she herself had dreamed up. Specific dates and performers have yet to be announced. London was chosen partly because of its long history as a key market for Parton, including tours in 1977, 1983, 2008 and 2011, and her 2009 live album recorded at the O2 Arena, while Nashville remains central to her legacy through landmarks such as her SongTeller Hotel and Dolly's Life of Many Colors museum.
