Doom: The Dark Ages, the latest entry in id Software's long-running first-person shooter series, has had its price permanently cut to $50. The change coincides with id Software re-releasing the Doom Anthology bundle to include the Premium edition of the new title, complete with its Revelations DLC, making it a more attractive package for newcomers looking to own the full series.

The revamped Anthology bundle is only available on PlayStation 5, Steam and Xbox Series X/S, so owners of older-generation consoles do not need to repurchase anything. Existing owners of the previous Anthology bundle will not automatically receive The Dark Ages, but the lower price makes completing the collection more affordable. The game has drawn praise for its new Shield Saw weapon, though reception to other changes has been mixed among fans.
