A double-decker H98 bus crashed into a building beside Hayes & Harlington station in west London on Friday evening, causing significant local traffic and public transport disruption. Emergency services attended and Transport for London advised passengers to use alternative routes while the incident was dealt with.

The collision happened at about 7pm on Station Road, where the bus mounted the pavement and struck Trident House, an apartment block. Several ambulance crews, police and firefighters were sent to the scene; one man was treated and later discharged, with no further injuries reported.
