More than 150 people have died and hundreds remain missing after flash flooding and mudslides near the Nepal-Tibet border. The disaster has swept away communities and damaged vital infrastructure, while foreign governments are assisting affected citizens and rescue efforts continue.

Nepal police say 579 tourists are missing, including 466 foreign nationals from 28 countries: 54 Americans, 33 Britons and 24 Canadians are among them.
