Sick Of It All frontman Lou Koller died at the age of 59 on Saturday after a battle with esophageal cancer, prompting tributes across the hardcore punk scene. During a Warped Tour stop in Long Beach over the weekend, California hardcore band Drain paid homage to Koller by performing a cover of Sick Of It All's classic track "It's Clobberin' Time" during their live set.

The song, a 45-second mosh anthem, originally opened Sick Of It All's debut 7-inch record in 1987. The tribute carries added resonance given Drain's own connection to cancer awareness, having released the 2025 song "Stealing Happiness From Tomorrow" about drummer Tim Flegal's fight against the illness. Koller had been raising funds for his medical care prior to his death, and further tributes from the hardcore community are expected at future live shows.
