Drake Submits to ‘Goth Baddie’ Streamer Who Gets Him to Bark on Command: ‘Good Boy’

Billboard · 2 hours ago

Drake generated viral buzz over the weekend after playfully barking on command during a livestreamed dating segment hosted by streamer Lin Lamar, known online as Pinkchyu. The clip, taken from the rapper's "20-v-1" dating show broadcast on Kick on Saturday 8 August, quickly spread on social media, adding to the run of attention-grabbing moments from Drake's recent online appearances.

In the exchange, Pinkchyu, who describes herself as a "goth girl", asked Drake if he was into roleplay before instructing him to bark, which he did while growling playfully, prompting her to respond "Good boy". Drake went on to select Pinkchyu as the show's winner, promising to buy her mother a house, and had previously described his ideal partner in similar "goth baddie" terms during a podcast appearance last year. The moment comes shortly after Drake released a collaboration with Karol G, "Así", and follows a year in which he topped the Billboard 200 with three simultaneous album releases.
