Drake has begun the rollout for a new project apparently titled "Fear of Missing Out", announcing a YouTube livestream set for 15 September at 9pm ET. The rapper shared a poster for the project on Instagram, giving no further details beyond an island emoji and a Ferris wheel emoji in the caption, prompting fans to speculate that a new single, and potentially an album, will follow. The teaser comes just months after Drake released three albums simultaneously, suggesting no let-up in his output.

The announcement follows a record-breaking May for Drake, when ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR became the first releases by one artist to occupy the top three spots on the Billboard 200 at once. His track "Janice STFU" gave him a 14th Hot 100 number one, the most among male soloists, while ICEMAN's chart-topping run gave him a 15th Billboard 200 number one, surpassing Jay-Z for the most among rappers, and the album has now spent 13 weeks atop the Top Rap Albums chart, a career best. He also performed songs from ICEMAN live for the first time on 31 August, guesting at Don Toliver's Toronto tour stop.
