## Summary

Dropkick Murphys frontman Ken Casey is hosting *Home of the Brave Backstage*, a video interview series in which musicians discuss the Trump administration, opposition to authoritarianism and the future of US politics. Its first episode features Bruce Springsteen explaining why he speaks out, while forthcoming guests include Joan Baez, Chuck D and Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett.

The series is connected to Home of the Brave, a nonprofit that publishes videos featuring Americans speaking against the administration’s policies. Casey’s co-hosts are former police officer Michael Fanone, who defended the Capitol during the 6 January 2021 attack, and Sarah Longwell, a member of the nonprofit’s advisory board. Springsteen said he sees it as his role to highlight the gap between the country’s reality and its ideals and to help narrow it.
