Drum ’n’ bass DJ Bou turned a British Airways flight attendant’s warning to a disruptive passenger into a track after filming an incident on a Heathrow-to-Las Vegas flight. The clip and song gained attention online, and Bou later invited the attendant, Sophie Turner, on stage during his Las Vegas set, turning an unsettling onboard incident into a viral music moment.

Turner was filmed warning a passenger that he could be restrained if he did not remain seated, while security staff dealt with an altercation involving two passengers. Bou made the track during the 10-hour flight, titled it ‘STAY SEATED’, and debuted it at We All Scream in Las Vegas on 6 August; reports said the disruptive passenger was escorted off by armed Metropolitan Police officers. British Airways said abusive or disruptive behaviour is not tolerated and that passenger and crew safety remains its priority.
