## Summary

Vault Comics has announced an ongoing print comic series based on Matt Dinniman’s “Dungeon Crawler Carl”, with its first issue due in comic shops in January 2027. The move brings the popular fantasy LitRPG story from webtoon to print as the wider franchise also heads towards a live-action television adaptation.

The first issue will be 48 pages, with later issues planned monthly. Webtoon writer Tevagah and Laurel Pursuit Studios will return, joined by artist Kuzomari; Nathan Gooden will draw the main covers, with variants by a rotating group of artists. The story follows Coast Guard veteran Carl and Princess Donut, his ex-girlfriend’s cat, as they try to survive a trap-filled dungeon that is also a reality show watched across the galaxy.
