## Key points

- Celtic beat Besiktas 3-2 for their first Europa League win.
- Osmand scored seconds after coming on.
- Duran’s brace raises questions over Hogh’s starting place.

## Summary

Celtic came from behind to beat Besiktas 3-2 at Parkhead, securing their first Europa League win of the season after three successive defeats. Substitute Callum Osmand scored within 43 seconds of coming on, then Camilo Duran scored twice after moving into the centre-forward role, turning a subdued performance into a late victory.

The result sharpens questions over Kasper Hogh’s place: the £11m signing had no shot and only one touch in the opposition box during 77 minutes, and has scored in one of 17 Celtic appearances. Duran scored twice in half an hour, while Osmand’s impact strengthens his case to start on the left. Manager Martin O’Neill said the changes were planned after Celtic had played nine matches in 25 days.
