## Summary

On-set images from Benny Safdie’s fantasy family film *Lizard Music* show Dwayne Johnson transformed into the elderly Chicken Man, a street performer. The role marks another striking physical change for Johnson and comes in Safdie’s next film after their collaboration on *The Smashing Machine*.

Johnson appears aged by about 20 years and with 30 pounds less muscle, wearing a bucket hat that conceals his chicken companion, Claudia. Makeup artist Kazu Hiro’s process took five hours each day. Based on Daniel Pinkwater’s 1976 novel, the film follows an 11-year-old who searches for a mysterious lizard band and an invisible island; it is due in cinemas on Christmas Day 2027, with Regina Hall, Tim Heidecker and Alicia Silverstone among the cast.
