The transgender TikTok personality and Broadway actress said she was struck that Trump mentioned her name "four times" despite having kept a low profile since the controversy, joking that she has become "the one that got away" for MAGA-aligned men who remain fixated on her.

In his speech, Trump used Mulvaney's Bud Light collaboration to mock CNN's Kaitlan Collins after she received the WHCA's Excellence in Presidential News Coverage award, claiming the partnership cost Bud Light $35 billion in market value and that he "wouldn't want to hire Dylan anytime soon." Responding via TikTok, Mulvaney said being mocked by the administration felt like "the greatest compliment," arguing it placed her alongside other people the administration targets, and framed her sense of freedom as independent of political attacks, suggesting her visibility could still help other young people feel able to be themselves.
