A 40-year-old man is in critical condition after crashing an e-scooter in Mawson Lakes, north Adelaide, on Monday evening. The crash involved no other vehicles, and police are investigating the circumstances.

The incident occurred at about 5pm at the intersection of University Boulevard and Main Street. The man was taken to hospital, while nearby roads were closed as police processed the scene. The crash follows the death of 36-year-old Brodie Rieger in a separate e-scooter collision with a lorry in Salisbury several months ago.
