## Key points

- Harry and Meghan reportedly moved into a Cotswolds property owned by a friend.
- They had been said to be seeking a country home for up to £10 million.
- The couple retain their Montecito mansion and reportedly own a home in Portugal.

## Summary

Prince Harry and Meghan have reportedly moved into a house on a friend’s Cotswolds estate, apparently ending their search for a country home. The move matters because the couple were said to be looking for a large property with substantial land and a budget of up to £10 million.

The article says they had been staying in the friend’s main house since returning to Britain at the end of August, then moved to another property on the estate shortly before a half-term holiday abroad. Their children, Archie and Lilibet, attend school in the area. The couple retain their £19.5 million Montecito home and were previously reported to have bought a coastal property in Portugal.
