Jake Gyllenhaal's 2011 sci-fi thriller Source Code, directed by Duncan Jones, is about to leave Peacock in the United States, prompting fans of similarly structured films like Edge of Tomorrow to catch it while they still can. The film follows a soldier repeatedly sent into a simulated recreation of a real train bombing to identify the culprit before time runs out, dying and restarting the eight-minute sequence each time he fails. It stands out as one of Gyllenhaal's more successful mainstream projects despite not achieving the same lasting fan recognition as later time-loop films with a comparable premise.

Made on a reported $30 million budget, Source Code grossed nearly $150 million worldwide and holds a "Certified Fresh" 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
