The Edinburgh International Film Festival will mark the 30th anniversary of *Kuch Kuch Hota Hai* with a special screening at its 2028 edition. The event celebrates the film’s lasting place in Indian cinema and its links to Scotland, with director Karan Johar and other guests expected to attend.

The 1998 film was Johar’s directorial debut and follows a love triangle played by Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji.
