A senior lawyer at a private equity firm has become the subject of widespread gossip after failing to turn off his camera during a toilet break on a recorded Zoom call. The mishap, witnessed by seven colleagues, has since been filmed and shared widely across Australian blue-chip companies and Melbourne's corporate and legal circles, causing considerable embarrassment for the individual involved.

Footage shows the lawyer placing his laptop on the bathroom floor before using the toilet, apparently unaware his camera remained on throughout. Colleagues on the call can be heard alerting him that his screen was still active, prompting a startled response before he closed his laptop, after which the group burst into laughter.
