Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" has spent a 20th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the sole longest-leading non-holiday song in the chart's 68-year history. The track, which first topped the chart in February, is only the second song ever to lead for at least 20 weeks, with Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" the sole song ahead of it historically, thanks to its recurring seasonal reign since 2019.

For the week of 21-27 August, "Choosin' Texas" logged 24.2 million official streams, 56.8 million radio airplay impressions and 7,000 sales, keeping it atop the Streaming Songs chart for a 20th week, level with the Hot Country Songs chart for a 38th week. Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Stella Lefty's "Boston" holds at No. 2, Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You" stays at No. 3 and Morgan Wallen's "Been by Now" remains at No. 4, with country songs continuing to dominate the upper reaches of the chart.
